| God’s grace and His abundant mercy is not for us to stay in sin. I want you to get this folks… Jesus did not die an excruciating death on the cross so that we could stay in our sin. His great grace and His great mercy extends so far, but Why? For you to overcome the lifestyle of sin. We can’t slap “I’m a christian, I love Jesus” on our lifestyle of sin, and think we are going to go to heaven. We can’t live our life in our own will and way, being comfortable in our sin, and still think we are obeying God. Jesus said himself in John 14:15, “If you love me, you will keep my commandments.” If we love God, we will allow his grace to help us overcome sin. We can’t do this in our own ability, but we can do it in HIS ability. We can do ALL THINGS through Christ who strengthens us. Remember this today, and be encouraged! |
