Let’s talk relationships. It’s not about finding the right person, but instead becoming the right person. Most people are with someone they don’t deeply want to be with because they were too impatient to wait…
Men and women can fall so easily into this trap. We take our eyes off of Jesus and become obsessed with filling the idol of relationships in our hearts. God will not bless any idol we try to set up. Instead, God blesses obedience and waiting.
Paztuh Mike understands this more than anyone, when he waited on his wife Anna Elisabeth. When God finally brought them together, he was so glad that he waited on the Lord. Read the full story here.
See marrying or dating the wrong person keeps you from your Kingdom purpose, derails you from your calling, and can open the door to sexual immorality.
It is much better to just wait on the Lord. The Bible says in Isaiah 40:31,
“But those who wait on the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
Learn to wait on the Lord. It’ll be worth it in the end.
